However, years of unrest have disrupted their livelihoods, leaving them desperate to rebuild. Now, we have an opportunity to restore hope and life to the soil by reintroducing two vital crops: sorghum and maize. Project Goal
Our goal is simple yet profound, to empower the farmers of Woliso to transform barren land into thriving fields of sorghum and maize. We aim to distribute high-quality seeds and essential farming inputs, provide hands-on training in modern, sustainable farming techniques, establish demonstration plots to showcase recovery and prosperity, and create strong connections between farmers and local markets to ensure stable income that will help rebuild lives and communities. This project will directly benefit 120 farmers.
Project Cost
To turn this vision into reality, we are seeking an investment of $550,000. Your contribution will fund the procurement and distribution of seeds, fertilizers, and tools, as well as training sessions, irrigation systems, and ongoing technical support for the farmers.
